Got a bill that looks wrong?
Check my billUpload or photograph it. We compare every line with the prices the hospital itself published, with federal coding rules and with the rate your own insurer and plan negotiated. The check is free; the detailed report costs $29.90 and the full dispute package $59.90.
How this works
- Every US hospital must publish a machine-readable file with all of its prices. We download those files every month, run them through the official CMS validator, and keep the hospital's own date on every number.
- You see the cash price, the lowest, median and highest rate insurers negotiated, and the hospitals that publish nothing. A missing price is shown as missing, never estimated.
- Enter your plan's deductible and coinsurance to see the range your share is likely to fall in. It is an estimate: the final bill depends on what is actually done and on your plan's rules. Your own insurer's rate is checked when you upload a bill.
